The collection includes the correspondence of Pylyp Orlyk and Ivan Mazepa with European politicians and statesmen of that time, which reveals the circumstances and content of Hetman Mazepa's negotiations regarding the formation of a European coalition directed against Moscow, and a number of other documents that contain valuable information about the political situation in the Hetmanship, its everyday life during Mazepa's time, the fate of mazepists.

Some of the documents included in the book are published for the first time and were not known not only to the general public, but also to historians. The rest of the source notes contained in the collection were previously published with errors that are corrected in this publication. Hardcover, 216 pages
