Dzhoel Dimsdeil
Dr. Joel Dimsdale is an American psychiatrist and researcher in the history of psychiatry. He is Emeritus Professor and Research Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego. Over the years, he has served as President of the Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research, the American Psychosomatic Society, and the Society of Behavioral Medicine, and has acted as a consultant to the Presidential Commission on Mental Health, the Institute of Medicine, and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
