This publication presents, for the first time, the 1782 census revision of Konotop. The documents contain valuable information about the named and social composition, number, age, and family ties of the inhabitants of this distinctive city of the Hetmanate.

The second volume includes documents primarily devoted to rank-and-file Cossacks, as well as gunners of the General Military Artillery, retired servicemen, and state peasants.
