Alla Horska was an active participant in the Ukrainian Sixtiers' movement of resistance to the totalitarian system in the USSR. She was known as the soul of Ukrainian Sixtiers, a loving woman and mother with the tender, sensitive heart of an artist. She was murdered, and the circumstances of her death remain shrouded in mystery. Her uncompromising courage in defending her beliefs, her selflessness, and patriotism continue to serve as an example for every concerned heart. The book includes photographs from the family album of the Zaretsky family, from the collection of the Museum of Sixtiers and the archive of the artist's granddaughter, Olena Zaretska.
