The publication presents for the first time the confessional records of the villages of the Konotop Hundred of the Nizhyn Regiment from the mid-18th century. These documents contain valuable information about the names, social structure, population size, age, and family connections of the inhabitants of this microregion of the Hetmanate. The book includes records from the town of Popivka, as well as the villages of Ozarichy, Shapovalivka, Pidlypne, Simyanyivka, Huty, and Stare.
