This album, inspired by the exhibits of the Museum of the Sixtiers, is dedicated to the heroic lives of women from the Sixtier movement: Nadia Svitlychna, Kateryna Zarytska, Darya Husyak, Maria Palchak, Iryna Senyk, Iryna Stasiv-Kalynets, Stefania Shabaturo, Oksana Meshko, and others. Their lives were intertwined not only by their shared mission — the struggle for the right to be Ukrainian and to have their own state on their own land — but also by the common hardships they endured. These fragile, yet incredibly strong women, endured trials in the Mordovian camp in Barashevo, in exile, and in the so-called "freedom" — within the vast "zone" called the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

The book includes materials from the extensive photographic and documentary archive of Nadia Svitlychna, camp embroidery, drawings, flowers grown in the camp zone, carefully pressed and miraculously preserved, as well as memories from the participants of those events — the heroines of the museum's exhibition.

The book is aimed at a wide audience.
